UX

Hi,Jay Here

Designer

(me)

Delivering the ‘what’ when it comes to digital products.

I discover and solve problems using a combination of user research, data and UI design, making getting from point A to point B as easy as possible. I strive to make peoples’ lives easier.

How I approach creative problems

An open mind. Every problem has its own needs when finding a solution, so entering with an open mind helps me to look at the bigger picture and not tunnel vision on specific research practices.

When I hit a creative block, I tell myself it’s ok to park said problem for the time being and work on something else. Sometimes throwing ideas at a wall will never stick, all you need is some time away from the problem and you’ll come back with some glue.

  • Monthly reports on the UX of core journeys, via data analytics, to review changes and how we can improve.
  • The creation of components and standards for a new design system to improve brand consistency and operational efficiency.
  • I also played a key role in discerning between a solution and problem with ideas proposed within my team. Then once I found the true problem space, used creative thinking and UX practices to solve the problem.
